Update

OK so I had an appointment 2 days ago. My blood levels have been really high so I am now on some diabetic medicine.. It helps though. Because of diabetic medicine I am having to be induced the 13th. Seth will hopefully be home before she's here "pray" So yeah new changes. Its crazy she will be here in no more than 12 days. Dani, I think our due dates will be pretty close.. Anyway, please pray things will go smoothly and that labor isn't 33 hours again. Also pray Seth will be here on time for her birth. I have another Dr. Appt tomorrow. Hopefully nothing changes.

34 weeks

Well, it has been quite a while since I last posted. I am officially 34 weeks pregnant, however I an sure she will be measuring quite large. "I have gestational diabetes" =(
I have been in quite a bit of pain for the last 2 months or so and was having trouble walking or even moving around at all. My pelvis and back just feel like they are going to break. I recently started going to a chiropractor which has brought some relief and I can walk a little better now. However, I am still in a lot of pain and just ready for her to come out.

Anyways, the doctors can't explain what the pain is. I have been in Labor and Delivery twice for the pain and some pretty bad cramping. The first time they said it was normal, her heart beat was fine then I was sent home. The second time, I was there for just a few hours then was sent home again. This was not fun at all! The ultrasound didn't reveal anything abnormal but did show that her head was down. Other than that... they sent me home hoping the pain would get better. Im just glad i see the chiropractor twice a week because it seems to ease my problems for a few days.
I have an appointment tomorrow and will find out an exact date for being induced. Because gestational diabetes usually causes complications and a big baby they may induce me 2 weeks earlier.

Anyways, I have been trying to prepare for her to come but have yet to pack my dr bag from lack of energy and modivation. I find myself going in her room and realizing I have been using it for storage these last few months. I have been motivated to clean though. I know it makes no sense! It's been tough and exhausting but fun and exciting too! Just wish Seth could be here these last few weeks, I could really use his help and on top of it I have been a wreck without him.

I think since I have last posted I recently had a baby shower. Due to sickness only 4 people showed up, kind of a bummer. It was nice though.

So this week and weeks following I will continue to prepare. I am focusing on getting my hospital bag packed because at this time... you never know when its going to happen. I am also starting on some fun sewing projects like blankets, bibs and burp cloths. Maybe even a hospital gown.

I will post a picture as soon as I get motivated to look "normal" right now im a walking zombie.

33 weeks

Yay, 33 weeks. This pregnancy has flown bye sooo fast. As everyone knows Seth left for deployment a little over a week ago. It is hard but I am managing. The only thing keeping me from breaking down is the fact that he will be home for Christmas and for the delivery of our daughter. I feel so blessed that Seth is in a unit where they actually let them come home for important events. Right now im in the process of getting ready for halloween. Our church will be putting on a trunk or treat so after this blog post I will be decorating the trunk of my car. Being pregnant its kind of hard to dress up for Halloween. I found an Orange shirt and hot glued a pumpkin face to my belly. Hopefully I wont look to lame lol. Anyway, Happy Halloween.

31 weeks

Our little bundle of joy weighs approximately 3 1/2 pounds and measures around 16 inches. She still moves around like crazy and gets the hiccups several times a day (it feels very strange)! Given that my "due date" is in 8 weeks, I don't know how I'm going to get everything done in time! I have a very long list of things to do. Most of the shopping items are checked off (no surprise there), but I still have lots of organizing to do... cupboards, drawers, baby clothes, toys, etc. Hopefully I will have time with Seth gone and a 2 year old running around to get things done.. We'll see! Im at a point in the pregnancy feeling excited but more so scared. I have been sad knowing that it wont be just Levi anymore. As much as I adore and love Levi its so hard to think it will be the same for another baby. Of course I will love her just the same, it's just weird. Hopefully I can juggle spending time with Levi while taking care of a new baby. Seth will be deployed so I have twice as much work to do on the "making Levi feel loved" It's going to be hard.

Pumpkin Patch!

What's more fun than playing in a corn box? A pumpkin patch with the ones you love! I love pumpkins and more so I love fall! Today Seth, Levi and I went to a pumpkin patch not to far from our house. Its nothing compared to pumpkin patches in Oregon. I am thankful they have one here at least. We had a great time petting animals, playing on a slide and most importantly picking the perfect pumpkins. Hopefully we will have time to carve them before Seth leaves.

Little man

Here is a picture of my little man and I just before bible study. I went in his room this morning to wake him up, only to find that I had fallen asleep on his bed with him. He is such a sweet little boy. Even though at times he can be quite a stinker I find myself being more and more patient with him everyday. He is going to be such a wonderful big brother. Hopefully, if Seth and I decide to have more kids he will have a little brother some day. I love you Levi.

Not so pink....

I know, 23 weeks and I am pretty much finished with " 's" room. To say the least I did it as simple as I possibly could on a budget. The only thing we really spent money on was the bed set. Everything els we already had from Levi. Thanks to Jordan we now have another crib set for when I wash this one or get tired of it. I was just going to find a cheap bed set off of craigs list but ran across this bed set from Target for only 69$ and fell in love with it. The bedroom had already been painted from our guest bedroom and thought the light blue would still work for a girl. Im not really into the pink for a girl.. I added a tree, glued on some fake flowers and love the outcome. So simple yet really girly. The room is pretty small as you can tell from the pictures, so I did the best I could with the placement of the furniture.

By the way seth picked out the green baby outfit. And yes it really is that green. I didn't like it at first but considering Seth loved it the moment he picked it up It kinda grew on me. She will be born in December so to make Seth one happy daddy she will most likely be coming home in that outfit.
